This project explores the expressive qualities of the Mrs. Eaves typeface through a novel type specimen using text from Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice.” The specimen book demonstrates the quiet elegance of the typeface while enhancing the literary elegance and observational nature of the text. I used a limited color palette and minimal decorative elements, allowing supporting elements such as pull quotes and chapter openings to display the typography.
